The Simpsons has done it again.

A number of users on X/Twitter pointed out the latest coincidence involving the long-running Fox cartoon, as a 2000 episode of the Fox series included Lisa Simpson in a purple suit comparable to the one worn by Vice President Kamala Harris during the inauguration in 2021.

The meme went viral Sunday as President Joe Biden left the race, endorsing Harris to take his slot in the presidential race, about a month before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

At the inauguration of Biden, held on January 20, 2021, Harris was clad in a purple ensemble designed by Christopher John Rogers with Sergio Hudson-designed shoes and a necklace from Wilfredo Rosado.

Actress and Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Claudia Jordan posted a side-by-side shot of Harris alongside Simpson, writing, k8 'Not for nothing but the Simpsons already predicted this....'

Another user noted, 'The Simpsons has done it again! Here's from the 17th episode of the 11th season (in the year 2000) showing Lisa Simpson as the first female president of the United States talking about how the country is broke after President Trump. And, here's Kamala wearing the same outfit at Biden's inauguration.'

Said one user: 'Remember when Lisa was President of The United States on The Simpsons? Was that Kamala Harris?'

The Simpsons' most eerie predictions that have come true as 28-year-old prophecy fulfilled tonight

One user remarking on the show's ongoing stream of coincidences said, 'Can the simpsons writers predict me being rich and successful?'

The latest prediction was included in an episode that aired at the dawn of the millennium, on March 19, 2000, titled Bart to the Future.

In the storyline, the family visits a Native American casino, where Bart, too young to enter at the age of 10, is displayed a look three decades ahead in the future.

Lisa is elected president, and is seen wearing the purple pantsuit, and the rest of the family get acclimated to the White House.

Compounding the coincidences is that Lisa's presidency comes after an implied presidency from Donald Trump, which caused a massive deficit.

Lisa, as president in the episode, says, 'As you know, we've inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump.'

The episode has past been heavily cited over the past decade amid Trump's rise to political power and term as the 45th U.S. president from 2017-2021.

Dan Greaney, who penned the episode, told The Hollywood Reporter in March of 2016 that the episode 'was a warning to America.'

Said Greaney: 'And that just seemed like the logical last stop before hitting bottom. It was pitched because it was consistent with the vision of America going insane.'

Greaney said that 'the important thing is that Lisa comes into the presidency when America is on the ropes, and that is the condition left by the Trump presidency,

'What we needed was for Lisa to have problems that were beyond her fixing, that everything went as bad as it possibly could, and that's why we had Trump be president before her.'

Greaney said at the time, 'I am tickled we are getting all this attention, but I don't think it's going to trigger this well-awaited reevaluation of my episode that I was hoping for.

'The Simpsons has always kind of embraced the over-the-top side of American culture … and [Trump] is just the fulfillment of that.'v2?sig=50e3c90229cb0237ecf5cd83e23975cb56ee7c688c5597a56cd2b3598d3ac727
