The base station is a bit larger than other robots, so you'll need to think about how to position it according to. The X10 Pro Omni is encased in a thick black matte plastic and is very well constructed. It's also attractive and appears like a premium device.

It takes around ten minutes to get the X10 Pro Omni up and running. The instructions are very clear and there's no problem with the app or Wi-Fi setup. Once it's connected to internet, I could access the settings and control the robot from my phone.

It took just a few seconds for it to draw out my floor once I had it in the room. It didn't hit anything or corner itself like other models I've seen, and it seemed to navigate better than most. It even noticed some of the small objects on my floor, such as cords and plugs, which other robots have a difficult time with.

When it's mopping, it can employ a dry or wet cleaning mode. It comes with two mopping pads, which are washed in the base station and dried. It is able to scrub off much dirt. It is excellent at cleaning bare floors however it has a hard time with shag and tasseled pile carpeting.

The X10 Pro Omni's smart features are fantastic and the BoostIQ option can increase suction power if it senses that additional power for cleaning is needed. It comes with three cleaning modes, and you can edit its map to include Virtual Boundaries that many robovacs identify as impervious barriers. It also supports an option to speak to it and you can examine the condition of its battery and water tank.
