World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot for them; the item must be at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the item to which it is applied (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with fewer upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. These upgrades can be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-level version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the various Glyphs as well as some rare Glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs You will have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is referred to as "upping". Each item level requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item upgrade, and once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a new item of the same kind. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This could be a drawback, as it can make the item more expensive if you don't need it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do so. Requirements

The failure rate increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures can result in the Best item upgrade reverting to its initial condition, which requires the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded the experience bar in its growth bar will reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any gained bonuses such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). If an item upgrader kit is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest.
