She began her career at Surrey Memorial Hospital as the Head Consultation Liaison (CL), the Psychiatry Department. Her main focus was developing a vibrant highly collaborative CL service to provide the psychiatric treatment needed by patients in the surgical and medical units, including Palliative Care and oncology Units. She also received a Facilities Engagement grant to develop guidelines on how to manage vulnerable patients at the hospital.

She is the Provincial Practice Leader for Psychiatry at BC Cancer, Clinical Associate Professor at UBC and Past-President of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty participant in the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has had an ongoing interest in musculoskeletal research and educational. She is a teacher of Neuromuscular Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine to Family Medicine Residents. She is also involved in ongoing research projects on musculoskeletal educational, electrodiagnostic medical and performing arts-medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Sing completed her medical degree from the University of New South Wales before finishing her Psychiatry Residency at the University of British Columbia.
