World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase item damage and enchantments.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They are available by contacting the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components that provide additional effects or attributes, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the item has an upgrade slot and that it meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor, or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Item upgrades Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon level.

When the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage that a weapon inflicts.

It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of specific weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades provide some improvement to an item upgrader's defense base or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant increases to defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an epic item upgrader mod.

Certain upgrades grant special abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful, such as decreasing damage when wearing armor, or Item upgrades increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item could require several tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of 67-77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to what many believe armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors have very significant increases in poison, curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

By placing a potion on a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated for more potency levels.

The potion also gains a custom color code, which the player can select by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.

The water bottle, common and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a distinct the texture of brewing. Added potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. The addition of lingering potions that can be prepared by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It could also refer to the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a boat.

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the denizens of this maze and making them more popular. The trinket, at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives every floor an A% chance that it has an ebony copy. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment and increase the likelihood of producing water and grass. At its current level, this trinket will make X% of floors filled with water or grass but doesn't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.

This item upgrader mod, which looks like a newt's eyes is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X% and gives you eyesight on enemies within Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by defeating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will create an unintended impact on the trinket either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reforge the Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you forged it.

You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
