In our tests In our tests, the InstaView refrigerator's door compartment was slightly warmer than the other compartments and suggests that it's not actually lessening the loss of cold air, but instead providing easy access to the in-door shelves.

What we did like was the clear organizer designed for egg storage (although it could also be used for other things such as yoghurts). It's also nice to see that both the fridge and freezer come with an LED strip of 24cm that illuminates when you knock twice on the InstaView door pane, which provides excellent visibility for quick item retrieval without opening the doors.

This model is the very first of its kind that features LG's exclusive Craft Ice System that produces beautiful spheres that are perfect to chill whisky and cocktails. These ice cubes have a smaller surface area than traditional ice, meaning they melt faster and chill drinks more thoroughly, without watering them down.
